Jamshedpur, Oct 27: IMD’s Ranchi Meteorological Centre issued an alert of fog and mist across several districts of Jharkhand.
Apart from the fog alert the Met Centre also issued a forecast of dry weather on Thursday.
“Clear sky and dry weather would prevail in Jharkhand on Thursday as well as in the next 72 hours. There won’t be any major changes in maximum and minimum temperatures during the next 48 hours,” said Abhishek Anand, head of Ranchi Meteorological Centre
The wind pattern over Jharkhand was calm today.
Weathermen said no significant synoptic condition prevails over Jharkhand today.
The minimum temperature in Ranchi and its adjoining places were hovering around 17 degrees Celsius while the night reading was around 19 degree Celsius in Jamshedpur and other parts of the Kolhan region.
The minimum readings are limited to around 15 degrees celsius in Daltonganj Ooty and Simdega.
