Islamabad, April 4: Hours before the important vote on Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan’s no-confidence motion, the ruling party has stepped up attempts to win public support, with the Pakistan PM calling on the country’s young to protest for two days against a “foreign conspiracy” to depose him.
He claimed that the plot was organised against his government since Pakistan’s National Assembly is set to vote on a no-confidence resolution against him on Sunday, according to Geo TV.
Meanwhile, proceedings of the Pakistan National Assembly get underway, to vote on the no-confidence motion. PM Imran Khan is not present in the Assembly.
