Birmingham, July 3: England will resume their batting on Day 3 of the ongoing fifth and final Test match at Edgbaston, Birmingham, trailing India by 332 runs and at 84 for five.
Mohammed Shami and Mohammed Siraj each grabbed a wicket to further humiliate the hosts, while Jasprit Bumrah recorded numbers of 3/35 on Saturday to keep England on the ropes.
On Sunday, Jonny Bairstow and Ben Stokes will continue the England innings based on their respective individual scores of 12 and 0. With the help of Rishabh Pant’s 146, Ravindra Jadeja’s 104, and Jasprit Bumrah’s 31 not out off 16, India had earlier made 416 all out. James Anderson had taken five wickets for England and given up 60 runs.
