Ranchi, Nov 17: Even after the availability of 100% of the seats for the forthcoming T20 match between India and New Zealand, black marketing in ticket sales continues in Ranchi.
Cricket fans continue to bear the brunt of rising ticket costs as a result of the rampant black marketing of these tickets.
However, a huge line of cricket enthusiasts continues to form outside the ticket booths in order to purchase seats at a fair price.
The prices of the tickets have doubled where tickets of Rs 900 are sold at Rs 1800 and tickets of Rs 1200 are being sold at Rs 2400.
Totally unaware of the fact, JSCA Vice President Ajay Nath Shahdeo said that strict actions will be taken against those who are involved in the black marketing of the tickets.
A JSCA official said that after looking at the sale of tickets for the upcoming match, it is clear that the stadium will be jam-packed with spectators and a spectacular match is expected.
Meanwhile, the spectators will have to carry their double dose certificate of the Covid vaccine and if not, an RT PCR test report will be required to enter the stadium to enjoy the cricket match.
After a gap of 4 years, the T20 International match will be played at this stadium on 19 Nov 2021. The entry of spectators for this match starting at 7 pm will be made from 4 pm.
