New Delhi, Aug 23: Rahul Dravid, India’s head coach, tested positive for COVID-19, dealing a serious setback to the country ahead of the Asia Cup in 2022. It is unknown whether Dravid will be able to travel with the rest of the team to the UAE to play in the regional competition prior to the T20 World Cup.
Notably, the senior selection committee decided to rest Rahul Dravid, along with batting coach Vikram Rathour and bowling coach Paras Mhambrey, for the recently finished three-match series in Zimbabwe.
