New Delhi, Nov.12: The data issued by the Union Health Ministry on Friday shows that India logged 12,516 new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours, down by 4.4 percent from yesterday. The total number of cases is now 3,44,14,186.
After 501 deaths linked to Covid-19 in the last 24 hours, the total death toll has risen to 4,62,690.
Kerala (7,224 cases), Maharashtra (997), West Bengal (854), Tamil Nadu (820), and Mizoram are the top five states with the most Covid-19 instances (631).
84% of new cases are filed in these five states. Kerala is responsible for 57.72% of all new cases of novel coronavirus.
Kerala had the most Covid-related deaths (419), followed by Maharashtra with 28 daily deaths.
In the last 24 hours, a total of 13,155 patients have been discharged, bringing India’s recovery rate to 98.26%. The overall number of people who have been reclaimed today stands at 3,38,14,080 across the country.
Active cases have decreased by 1,140 in the last 24 hours. The number of active cases in India is 1,37,416.
In the last 24 hours, India has provided 53,81,889 dosages, bringing the total to 1,10,79,51,225. In the last 24 hours, a total of 11,89,470 samples were tested.
