India-Srilanka 3rd ODI: Team India won the toss, decided to bat first

LagatarDesk: Today is the last match of the three-match ODI series between India and Sri Lanka. Team India won the toss and decided to bat first. The match is being played at Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. Team India will clean sweep by winning this match. On the other hand, the Sri Lankan team will come to save their credibility in this match. Let us tell you that the match will start in some time from now. After the toss, both the teams have announced their playing XI.

Five players have a chance to debut in ODIs

India has given five players a chance to debut in the third ODI. Debut caps were handed over to Sanju Samson, Nitish Rana, Chetan Sakaria, Krishnappa Gautam, Rahul Chahar. 6 changes have been made in the Indian team. Along with the five players making their debut, Navdeep Saini is also included in the team. Three changes have been made in the Sri Lankan team. Praveen Jayavikrama, Akila Dhananjay and Ramesh Mendis have been included in the playing XI.

India’s playing XI team includes Shikhar Dhawan (captain), Sanju Samson (wicketkeeper), Prithvi Shaw, Manish Pandey, Suryakumar Yadav, Hardik Pandya, Nitish Rana, Krishnappa Gautam, Rahul Chahar, Navdeep Saini, Chetan Sakariya.

Sri Lanka’s playing XI team includes Dasun Shanaka (captain), Minod Bhanuka (wicketkeeper), Avishka Fernando, Bhanuka Rajapaksa, Dhananjaya de Silva, Charit Aslanka, Wanindu Hasaranga, Kasun Rajitha, Lakshan Sandakan, Dushmanta Chamira, Chamika Karunaratne.

Team India will come down to do a clean sweep

Team India will go for a ‘clean sweep’ against Sri Lanka. Ahead of today’s match, Indian coach Rahul Dravid will face a dilemma whether to experiment in this match or retain the winning combination for a ‘clean sweep’.
