Inter-state football tournament: Bokaro to take on Jamshedpur in grand finale at Daltonganj

Daltonganj, Dec 20: SAIL Academy Bokaro will take on the Kolhan Tigers Jamshedpur in the final match of the week-long inter-state football tournament, informed the spokesperson Sheo Kr Mishra.

The final match is to be played on Tuesday in the police line ground Daltonganj.

“The behaviour of the crowd of the spectators is all these days beginning December 15 has been sportive and disciplined and hence there is not much worry for crowd management,” said SP Palamu Chandan Kr Sinha.

“There will be sufficient deployment of police force inside and outside the ground,” he added.

Notably, the SP is the president of the inter-state football tournament while his deputy K Vijay Shankar is the vice president. Palamu police and Palamu Football Ayojan Samiti have together held this week-long tournament.

The chairman, SP Palamu had made the entire tournament ticket free.

A match between the girl team of Banaras and Kolkata is also scheduled for tomorrow when the curtains will be coming down on the tournament.
