Ranchi, Sept 30: Suspended IAS Pooja Singhal, who was admitted to RIMS on Sept 27, underwent an MRI examination on Friday after she complained of chest pain and difficulty in breathing. She is admitted to room number A-11 of the paying ward. According to the information, an MRI of her spine and knee has been done. In view of the complaint of pain in the foot, the doctor of the orthopaedics department had also been called.
On September 27, Singhal was brought from Hotwar Jail to RIMS. She was brought to the cardiology department for examination after she complained of chest pain and difficulty in breathing. The treatment of Pooja Singhal was started under the supervision of HOD Dr Prakash Kumar of the department.
Notably, the hearing on the bail plea of Pooja Singhal was held in the Jharkhand High Court on Tuesday. The matter was heard in the court of Justice Ambuj Nath. During the hearing, the court directed to hear the petition of Pooja Singhal after the holiday is over. The ED has filed a reply on the bail of Pooja Singhal. Along with this, the case diary has also been filed in the High Court.
