Jammu, Oct 20: Police reported that a truck travelling from Srinagar to Rajasthan met with a tragic accident on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway in the Jhajjar Kotli area, resulting in the loss of four lives as it plunged into a gorge.
According to police, the accident that claimed the lives of four persons happened on Thursday night.
Visuals captured at the scene revealed that the truck was severely mangled.
An identical occurrence occurred earlier in May when a bus plunged down a deep gorge on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway, resulting in at least ten fatalities and injuries to approximately 55 people.
