Jamshedpur, April 10: A large group of BJP activists on Monday assembled in front of Bistupur police station and demonstrated in protest against the arrest of BJP leader Abhay Singh. The protestors were shouting slogans against the police and demanded immediate release of him from the Bistupur thana where he has been kept after his arrest from near his house on Monday morning.

“I want the police must arrest those indulged in the Shastrinagar communal violence, but no innocent person should be taken into custody,” said Goswami.
He stated that a high-level fact-finding team consisting of JB Tubid and Lakhman Prasad Singh has been set up so as to confirm whether Abhay Singh had instigated the communal tension at Shastrinagar.
