Jamshedpur, July 5: Inner Wheel Club of Jamshedpur Zest has decided to focus on environment, health and hygiene on a greater scale this year. The newly appointed president of the club Nisha Gadia said that her team has decided to touch the lives of more than 5,000 persons with various interventions.
Addressing a press meet, she said: “As members of Inner Wheel Club of Jamshedpur Zest, we dare to do the impossible, because we Care and we wish to Share. We at Inner Wheel have come forward with courage and compassion to serve. From environment conservation to health and hygiene to hand cleanliness to cancer awareness we will continue to work for the greater good.”
She added that for the year 2022-2023 Work Wonders is a theme that encompasses a very broad spectrum of what we as members can do , to make a difference to the community, society , and the world at large.
Immediate past president, Preeti Khara said that during her tenure, the club worked hard to bring changes at Dobo School. It has helped to spread the message of cleanliness and helped the students study in a better environment. The students and the locals are living in better condition now. She thanked the team members for their support. She said that the club will continue to educate children, keep a check on dropouts and make sure that the social conscience is awakened.
The club has resolved to take up inclusive growth oriented projects aiming sustainable development of the society at large and the focus henceforth would be on working health issues and community services, asserted, the newly elected president of the club. The club would work on a multi-pronged agenda to make the society and environment a place to live happily.
On the occasion, Inner Wheel Club team Neeta Agarwal, Shweta Debuka, Tripti Singh, Preeti Goel, and Kavita Makani were present.
