Jamshedpur, Oct 19: Premier B-school XLRI recently conducted the inaugural edition of ‘Jamshedpur’s Best Young Innovators’, an innovation-based competition for school children between classes IX and XII.

The contest saw the participation of students from more than 30 schools in Jamshedpur.

The event required students to identify an unaddressed or underappreciated problem in society and use innovation to develop solutions to these problems.

In all 24 children were selected, based on their submissions, to attend a 2-hour interactive workshop on the methods of innovation delivered by the student team.

The workshop culminated in a certificate distribution by the District Education Officer of East Singhbhum, Nirmali Kumari Bareliya, the director of XLRI, Fr. S George, SJ, and Dean Academics of XLRI, Sanjay Patro.

The team was guided by Prof Saurav Snehvrat and Prof Giridhar Ramachandran in their pursuit.
