Jamshedpur, July 18:  City-based XLRI, one of the country’s leading B-schools is getting an overwhelming response for  Xavier Aptitude Test ( XAT ), the entrance test registration for which began on July 15.

Registration is taking place across the country for XAT  (website: www.xatonline.in), said officials adding that the response has been overwhelming.

Organized by XLRI on behalf of  XLRI Associate Member Institutes (XAMI), the  Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) is a gateway to a promising future.

For more than seven decades, XLRI has been the proud custodian of the XAT, managed on behalf of XAMI.

As a distinguished, national-level MBA entrance exam, XAT is not merely a test but a stepping stone towards premium management programs.

Not only does it offer a path to XLRI, but it also extends to many esteemed Indian B-schools, such as Loyola Institute of Business Management (Chennai), St. Joseph’s Institute of Management, IMT Ghaziabad, GIM Goa, Sri Balaji University, TAPMI Manipal, XIMB Bhubaneswar, and FORE School of Management (New Delhi).

Conducted annually across more than 90 cities nationwide, the Xavier Aptitude Test, orchestrated by XLRI Jamshedpur, is instrumental in MBA/PGDM admissions.

Besides opening doors to XLRI Jamshedpur and other Xavier Associate Management Institutes, over 160 elite B-schools across India recognize XAT scores as a benchmark for their admission process.

Utilizing the most advanced technology and modern testing methods, the XAT comprehensively evaluates potential business management candidates.

It uniquely emphasizes candidates’ decision-making abilities, setting it apart from other aptitude tests. Students join the ranks of future business leaders by conquering this illustrious test.

To qualify for the XAT, candidates must have earned a three-year bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in any discipline from a recognized university or institution.

Moreover, students who anticipate completing their final examinations by June 10, 2024, can also apply.

The last day of registration for XAT is November 30  and the entrance test – XAT- is scheduled to take place on January 7 next year.

The B- school has fixed Rs 2,100 as the XAT registration fee.

Officials of the B- school said that the number of questions in  XAT typically fluctuates within a range of 100-105, offering a comprehensive assessment of one’s aptitude.

Each section will typically contain between 22 to 30 questions. The total number of questions will not exceed 100, including those focused on General Knowledge.

The General Knowledge and Essay sections will not influence the cutoff score. Their evaluation will come into play only during the interview stage. So, while they are essential for the overall process, they will not affect the initial test results, explained an official.
