Deoghar, March 6: An army jawan was killed today in a road accident in Deoghar near the railway overbridge on the Jasidih main road.
The deceased has been identified as Ajay Kumar Singh who was posted in Assam Riffle in Arunachal Pradesh and he came to his home on leave today morning.
As per the information, Ajay, a native of Dhanbad, had constructed a house in Dabur gram on Deoghar Jasidih main road and was going shopping on his bike when he was hit by an unknown vehicle coming from the other side near ROB.
He was brought to Sadar Hospital by the PCR van where was declared as brought dead by the doctor on duty.
Notably, police could not trace the fugitive vehicle that hit the deceased by late evening.
