Ranchi, Oct 22: Anti Terrorist Squad (ATS) of Jharkhand Police has started conducting raids at 12 different hideouts of gangsters Aman Sao and Sujeet Sinha across the state.
The different hideouts that are being raided in Hazaribagh, Palamu, Chatra, Latehar, Jamshedpur and Dhanbad besides Jharkhand’s capital Ranchi.
A police official said not only Aman and Sujeet, but their close aides are also on target of the ATS team being laid by ATS SP Surendra Kumar Jha.
“Aman Sao is presently in Palamu jail while Sujeet Sinha is in Dumka jail but ATS has information that they are operating their gang from the jail also. The ATS team is intentional to find clues regarding those who are helping them run gangs from inside the jail and how gangsters are getting help. Earlier on July 20, 2020, Surendra Kumar Jha had arrested the criminal Aman Sao while being the SSP of Ranchi. He has good knowledge about this whole gang,” the police official said.
ATS has been constituted to check such organized crimes. Many special powers have been given to this team. Earlier, the ATS team of Jharkhand had taken strict action against the infamous Aman Srivastava gang. Now the ATS has taken these two criminals on the radar. ATS caught many criminals of the Aman gang and broke their network.
