Ranchi, Oct.10: BJP organising secretary in Jharkhand Karamveer asked RSS swayamsevaks to gear up to take their organisation to a new height with the completion of its 100 years in 2025.
Karamveer’s word came when he was in the role of Baudhikkarta on the occasion of Sharad Purnima on Sunday late at night at Jatra Maidan in Harmu Housing Colony amid the presence of a section of committed swayamsevaks.
The BJP organising secretary, who will complete 30 years as a full-time RSS worker in various capacities told the swayamsevaks to foil all attempts of anti-social and anti-national elements to create a rift among Hindus in the name of caste and creed and create such a harmonious atmosphere in the society that atmosphere of love and trust gets created everywhere and Hindu society does not get divided.
On the occasion of Sharad Purnima, the RSS swayamsevaks assembled at one place to prepare kheer and keep it under the open sky in accordance with the Hindu mythology which suggests that during the full moon night of Ashwin, a month of the Hindu calendar, nectar falls from the sky and that helps cure diseases. Apart from this, swamsevakas also observe the birth anniversary of Maharishi Valmiki, the scheduled caste saint who had written the Ramayana.
Karamveer asked the swayamsevaks to celebrate the occasion next time in a way that none from the society gets neglected and all assemble at one place to have kheer on the occasion of Sharad Purnima. To prepare for the occasion, he asked them to start working immediately and to check preparedness before the next Sharad Purnima.
A native of Mathura, Uttar Pradesh—the city where Lord Krishna was born—Karamveer committed his life to serve the RSS in 1993, and he has continued to do so with fervour and excitement ever since. He strengthened the foundation of RSS, which was founded in Nagpur, Maharashtra, in 1925, by working at several locations in the state of Uttar Pradesh in a variety of positions.
Before being assigned to work as Mahanagar Pracharak in Aligarh, he served as Tehsil Pracharak in Braj, Mathura, and Agra. Later, he served as a Zila Pracharak in Agra before becoming a Vibhag Pracharak in Mathura.
At Meerut and Braj Prant, he served as the Sah Prant Pracharak. He held the position of Prant Sah Pracharak in Meerut from 2015 to 2019 and in Braj from 2019 to 2020. He was tasked with handling BJP on November 20, 2020. Since August this year, he is the state organizing secretary of the BJP.
