The weather department has issued an orange alert for May 5 covering Ranchi, Khunti, Ramgarh, Bokaro, Dhanbad, and southeastern districts including East and West Singhbhum and Seraikela Kharsawan. Winds of 50 to 60 km/h, heavy rain, and hailstorms are expected in these areas.

Yellow Alert from May 6 to May 10

A yellow alert will remain active across all of Jharkhand from May 6 through May 10, warning of thunderstorms, lightning, and winds ranging between 40 to 50 km/h.

Ranchi Forecast and Temperature Drop

Ranchi and surrounding areas will see partly cloudy skies with intermittent rain from May 4 to May 8. Maximum temperatures are expected between 31–33°C and minimums around 20–21°C.
