Ranchi: The Jharkhand government has officially cancelled the advertisement for the Jharkhand Teacher Eligibility Test (J-TET). According to sources, the state education minister has approved the decision, and a fresh notification for the exam will be issued soon.
What is J-TET
The Jharkhand Teacher Eligibility Test is a crucial examination conducted by the state government to assess the eligibility of candidates for teaching positions in government schools across the state.
Why the Advertisement Was Cancelled
The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) had issued a notification last year to conduct the J-TET exam. However, following several discrepancies and confusion over the syllabus, the exam was put on hold. The government has now decided to formally cancel the existing advertisement and start afresh with a revised plan.
