Hazaribag, March 4: Chatra police today arrested a Maoist Ramashish  Yadav who is a member of the hit squad of wanted commander Gautam Paswan. A special team formed by Chatra superintendent of police Rakesh Ranjan arrested Yadav from the Koluwa area under Huntergunj police station.

Chatra subdivisional police officer Avinash Kumar who led the team said 40-year-old Yadav was arrested on a tip-off received by SP Chatra. Yadav was wanted in ten cases lodged in a different police station in the Chatra district.

Kumar told Lagatar24.com that Yadav was also known as Chalitar Yadav alias Angad. He said his arrest is a big jolt to Maoists. Yadav is a resident of Kendua village under the Giddhore police station of Chatra. He was involved in a police Maoists encounter in July last year in the Huntergunj area.
