Jharkhand CM gives Rs 3 lakh each to kin of seven killed in Hazaribag bus accident

Ranchi, Nov 22: Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Tuesday handed over an aid amount of Rs 3 lakh each to the dependents of seven devotees of the Sikh community who died in a bus accident in Hazaribag on September 17, 2022.

Soren handed over a cheque of Rs 3 lakh each from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund to the dependents of the seven devotees. The bus carrying the Sikh pilgrims from Giridih district met with an accident on the Siwane river bridge at Tatijharia in Hazaribag.

The aid were given to Harvansh Singh (dependent husband of late Ranveer Kaur Saluja), Jeevan Singh (dependent father of late Harmeet Singh), Sujendra Kaur (dependent wife of late Bhupendra Singh Sewak), Rajendra Kaur (dependent mother of late Amritpal Singh), Indrajit Singh (dependent son of late Jagjit Singh), Ajindra Singh (dependent husband of late Kamaljit Kaur) and Ajit Singh (dependent husband of late Ravindra Kaur). Giridih MLA Sudivya Kumar Sonu was also present on the occasion.
