Ranchi, May 12: Jharkhand Pradesh  Congress Committee (JPCC) working president Bandhu Tirkey, who lost his legislator status after being convicted and punished for having Rs 6.28 lakh more than known sources of income, today demanded a proper probe into the corruption done during the BJP rule.

Tirkey organizing a press conference at his official residence at Morhabadi said that Chief Minister Hemant Soren should his show his courage to order a probe saying that the saffron party did only scams during its 14-year of rule in the Jharkhand.

The scam, Tirkey said, included MNREGA scam in Khunti, Chatra, Palamu, Meinheardt consultancy scam, JPSC scam, co-operative scam among others. Tirkey said the BJP laid the foundation stone of the scam in 2005 when neither the UPA nor the NDA had a clear-cut majority to form the government and the BJP started horse-trading.
