Dhanbad, Jan 18: The East Central Railway (ECR) zone has diverted the routes of four express trains on Wednesday to double the tracks and built electronic interlocks at railway stations under the Dhanbad Rail Division.
The Senior railway officer of ECR said, “The Non-Interlocking (NI) work is being done at the railway stations of Anpara-Karaila Road and Mirchadhuri under Dhanbad Rail Division today. Therefore, the long-distance trains that started on January 17 and would run today from various locations moved from diverted routes.
Moreover, the trains are already delayed due to fog and the route diversion has aggravated the woes of long-route passengers further.
Diverted Trains:
Train no.-11447 Jabalpur-Howrah Shaktipunj Express scheduled to start from Jabalpur today (January 18) will run for Howrah from diverted route of Katni South – Prayagraj Chheoki – Dehri-On-Sone – Garhwa Road stations.
Train no.-11448 Howrah-Jabalpur Shaktipunj Express scheduled to start from Howrah today (January 18) would run from the diverted route of Garhwa Road, Dehri-On-Sone – DDU – Prayagraj Chheoki – Katni South to Jabalpur.

Train no.-19413 Ahmedabad-Kolkata Express scheduled to start from Ahmedabad today (January 18) would run from the diverted route of Katni Murwara – Katni Satna – Prayagraj Chheoki – DDU – Dehri-On-Sone – Garhwa Road stations for Howrah.
Train no.-13026 Bhopal-Howrah Express scheduled to start from Bhopal today (January 18) would run from Katni Murwara – Katni Satna – Prayagraj Chheoki – DDU – Dehri-On-Sone – Garhwa Road stations for Howrah.
