Ranchi, Sept 20: Muslim scholars came together on the call of the Jharkhand unit of Edar-e-Shariah today to express their concern over the attempt being made across the country to disrespect Prophet Mohammed and defame Islam.
In the meeting presided over by the state chief of Edar-e-Shariah Maulana Qutubuddin Rizvi, it was decided that the Jharkhand unit will work in accordance with the resolutions taken during a meeting of the central unit of the organization in Patna to change the situation.
According to the proposal approved, “Edar-e-Shariah Awareness Conference” will be organized in each district of Jharkhand state within the next six months and people will be made aware of the resolutions and work in accordance with it.
Resolutions of Edar-e-Shariah
- In India and other countries, Islam and Prophet-e-Islam are being attacked in various ways and in the glory of the prophet, blasphemy is being done. Today’s conference condemns all those attacks and arrogance in the strongest words. We will continue to respond to all those attacks through a democratic process and a judicial process.
- The survey of madrassas being conducted by the governments of Uttar Pradesh, Assam and Madhya Pradesh with the aim of targeting Muslim minorities in unnecessary ways is rejected.
- Keeping in view of establishing mutual harmony and peace in the country, eradicating hatred, strengthening the nation, solving the basic problem of Muslim minorities, education, employment, health, reservation, eradication of social evils and other burning issues, the next 6 Within the month, Bihar, Bengal, Jharkhand, Orissa will organize an awareness campaign conference in all the commissioners and districts of Orissa in the first phase and Bedari campaign in the blocks of these three states in the second and other phases.

- Edar-e-Shariah is a strong representative of the country, who is doing commendable work for the welfare of the country and society for more than 54 years. The people of the Sunni Muslim community of 80 per cent of the states of Bihar and Jharkhand are the followers of Edara, so except for Bihar, the Chief Ministers of all the states of the country and the Ministry of Home and Minorities of the Central Government under the leadership of National President Maulana Ghulam Rasul Balayavi, together with the Muslim minorities. Continuous efforts will be made to solve the problems by presenting a memorandum based on burning problems like education, employment, health, industry, security, economic, social, political and welfare issues.
- This “Pramarsh Pratinidhi Sammelan” of Bihar, Jharkhand, Bengal, and Orissa, while addressing the need for strong leadership to resolve and guide any problem on behalf of the Muslim minorities, it was decided that the Muslim community would be led by the Central Edar A.
