Ranchi, March 14: Jharkhand’s Education Minister Jagarnath Mahto was airlifted to MGM Chennai after his health condition suddenly deteriorated and he did not show any sign of improvement at Paras Hospital in the Jharkhand capital.
Chief Minister Hemant Soren met him before Mahto was airlifted.
Mahto has a history of lung problems. During the corona pandemic his lungs got badly infected and he had to undergo lung transplant surgery at MGM Chennai.
Dr Nitish of Paras Hospital said that his condition is stable now and he is being sent to Chennai MGM for follow up.
