Jamshedpur, Nov 16: IMD’s Ranchi Meteorological Centre issued a warning of fog for the next 72 hours. Weathermen said an alert of heavy fog was issued for isolated areas in south-eastern and north-western parts of Jharkhand.
According to weathermen, early morning fog would result in poor visibility. The visibility is expected to drop below 100 metres.
Meanwhile, Celsius witnessed an abrupt fall in several places. Simdega today recorded the lowest temperature of the state with the minimum temperature dropping to as low as nine degree Celsius.
Daltonganj and its adjoining areas recorded around 10 degree Celsius while Ranchi, Deoghar and Giridih recorded around 12 degrees Celsius today.
As per the forecast the minimum temperature was expected to drop by two to three degree Celsius after the next 24 hours.
