Ranchi, June 4: C.P. Radhakrishnan, Governor of Jharkhand, took part in the “Nasha Mukti Abhiyan” organised by Prajapita Brahmakumari Ishwariya here today.

He stated that the success of the drug de-addiction campaign is not solely the responsibility of one organisation, but requires the collective efforts and cooperation of all members of society.

“Drug abuse is one of modern society’s most pressing problems,” he said. It is more dangerous in many ways than incurable diseases, and it not only ruins the lives of users but also causes pain to the users’ families.”

“It was ironic that some people became addicted to drugs due to a lack of information. It has been found that selfish people give drugs to innocent people in order to achieve their wrong goals. By working together, we can effect positive change and create a drug-free society,” he said.
