Ranchi, June 25: For the first time after the formation of Jharkhand, the state got such a governor who visited many villages of Jharkhand in the scorching heat. A tour of 23 districts along with Dhanbad district and a direct dialogue program with the villagers was completed on Sunday. The manner in which Governor CP Radhakrishnan is visiting villages and interacting with the villagers has become a topic of discussion in the entire state. During this, the Governor inquired about the condition of the central schemes and also publicized them. On Sunday, Governor Radhakrishnan interacted with the villagers in Kamardih Panchayat of Tundi block of Dhanbad.
If the number of children increases, second Eklavya Vidyalaya will be opened in Tundi
During this, he said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s aim is that every citizen of the country should have his own house and every child of the country should be educated. Many residential schools, Navodaya Vidyalayas etc. have been opened by the government in the past. The Prime Minister is committed that the children of the deprived sections of the society should also get the best education and for this, a large number of Eklavya Vidyalayas are being opened across the country. The maximum number of this school is opening in Jharkhand. Eklavya Vidyalaya is also opening in Tundi. Hereafter enrollment, if the number of children without enrollment remains high, then another Eklavya Vidyalaya will also be opened. He said that the life of rural women has become easier due to giving free gas connections under Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana.
No shortage of funds in the Har Ghar Nal Yojana
He said that now drinking water supply is also being done in their homes under the Nal-Jal Yojana. 40 per cent houses of Dhanbad district have been covered under this scheme. Continuous work is being done for the rest as well. He said that there will be no shortage of funds for this scheme. If the budget is less, then for this he will talk to the central government and the budget will not be allowed to fall short. He said that Khadi Silk was promoted by the Prime Minister. Recently, a shawl made of Tasar silk from Jharkhand was presented by him to the President of America. Surely Tasar Silk will be promoted all over the world. India’s economy has now become the fifth largest economy in the world.
Officers must remove the problem of migration
In this program of public dialogue, people informed that a large number of people from this block migrate to other provinces for employment. In order to stop this migration, the government should take the initiative in the direction of providing employment here. There are also problems with health facilities. Many people are suffering from serious illness. Therefore attention should be paid to this also. Many women present there told about not having accommodation. The Governor spoke to the Deputy Commissioner on this. The Deputy Commissioner said that against the target of 57,000 houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, 53,850 have been completed. Work is in progress for the remaining. In this regard, a survey has been conducted in the villages and the data has been compiled. Action will be taken on opening the portal for Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. Housing is also being made available under the Babasaheb Ambedkar scheme.
Free coaching should be given to poor children
The children present there told the governor that they want to study more to achieve their goal. Government should cooperate with us. The Governor directed to make arrangements for free coaching along with scholarships for them. The Governor said that he is happy that the people here are aware. They are aware of the schemes and they are also trying to take advantage of them. After the program, applications were also compiled from the people present there. Necessary action will be taken on this.
