Ranchi, Jan 10: Former Chief Minister Raghubar Das lashed out at the present government of Jharkhand during a press conference at the BJP state headquarters. He said that such a government has neither been formed before and nor will be formed in the future.

Das said that the present government is weak, incompetent and the weakest government of the country. This government had promised 5 lakh jobs to the public every year, unemployment allowance, stove cost of Rs 2000 per month to poor sisters and Rs 2500 pension to the elderly and women, but did not give anything and moreover snatched the jobs of 13,000 people.

“Due to the weakness of the government, middlemen and syndicates are running the state. From liquor policy to distribution of cycles for students, work is being given on contract,” Das said.

The former CM said that this government is running on the politics of vote bank and appeasement. In the very first cabinet of the government, the cases registered against anti-national supporters were withdrawn. This decision was taken as part of the conspiracy to destroy the tribal culture of Jharkhand.

The former CM further alleged that Bangladeshi infiltration has intensified under this government. People of Bangladesh are grabbing their property by marrying tribal women in districts like Godda, Sahebganj, Pakur.

He claimed that the law and order of the state collapsed as soon as this government came to power.

“Seven and a half months after the formation of the government, seven tribals were massacred in West Singhbhum, riots broke out in Lohardaga, descendants of Sido-Kanhu were killed and a female Inspector Roopa Tirkey was also murdered,” Das said.

“There were more than 10 mob lynching incidents, in which 6 died and 13 people were injured. What is the definition of mob lynching in this government? Should a Muslim be killed, that would be called mob lynching,” he reprimanded.
