Ranchi, Nov 28: The Jharkhand High Court expressed its concern over the poor performance of RIMS director Dr Kameshwar Prasad and opined for his resignation.
The development took place in the division bench of Chief Justice Dr Ravi Ranjan and Justice Sujit Narayan, where a contempt petition involving the appointment of workers through outsourcing was being heard and Health Secretary Arun Kumar Singh was called to reply about how the appointment was done through outsourcing while the court ordered for direct appointment.
The court while giving its opinion of resignation to the RIMS director observed that the director is unable to run RIMS and thus he should vacate his post. The court was in favour of giving command of RIMS to an IAS.
The high court on the occasion reprimanded the health secretary Singh for allowing appointments through outsourcing and asked under which provision he resorted to outsourcing.
