Daltonganj, Dec 26: The Jharkhand health department has replaced the civil surgeon of Palamu today.
Dr Ashok Kumar, the medical officer in the primary health centre in Haidernagar, has been notified as the civil surgeon of Palamu. Dr Kumar will be replacing the present incumbent Dr Vijay Kumar Singh.
The state health department has changed the civil surgeons of East Singhbhum and West Singhbhum too by bringing in Dr Sahir Paul civil surgeon of West Singhbhum and Dr Jujhar Manjhi civil surgeon of East Singhbhum.
The civil surgeon Palamu Dr Vijay Kumar Singh had finished his press briefing today regarding Covid management and preparedness when he got this notification of his replacement.
