Ranchi, March 11: Health Minister Banna Gupta revoked suspension of RIMS trauma centre casualty medical officer (CMO) Dr Anish Kumar.
The development took place after a section of doctors today staged demonstration at the residence of Gupta demanding revocation of suspension.
Dr Kumar was suspended after the RIMS governing council headed by the health minister, during an inspection of different wards and trauma centres yesterday, expressed its dissatisfaction over the facilities being provided to patients.
The governing council had planned to inspect all the departments and stressed upon its need for proper discussion and decision during the meeting.
After inspection, the governing council meeting, due since April last year, was deferred further till March 26. It was decided that RIMS should first improve the condition of wards then organise meetings.
