Jharkhand High Court refuses to stay FSL asst. director appointment

Ranch, May 4: A division bench of the Jharkhand High Court comprising Chief Justice Ravi Ranjan and Justice Sujeet Narayan Prasad today upheld the order by a single judge bench which refused to put a stay on the appointment process of the assistant director for the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL).

 

The order was passed by Justice Rajesh Shanker. Thus while upholding the order the court directed the government to complete the hearing within four weeks after summer vacation and observed that the appointment will be affected by the final order of Justice Shanker’s court.

 

Petitioners were Aparajita Meena Soren and others.
