Ranchi, May 4: The Jharkhand High Court today asked veterinary doctors to knock on the door of the State Election Commission for exemption from election duty and directed the commission to take a decision in accordance with the circular of the Election Commission of India.
Justice S.N.Pathak passed the order hearing a petition of veterinarians organized under the aegis of the Jharkhand Veterinary Doctors Association. The association had challenged the order by which veterinarians have been deputed for election duty.
