Jharkhand: JCECEB releases revised dates for application for Post Graduate Medical/Dental state quota seats

Ranchi, March 15: The Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) has released the revised minimum qualifying criteria and cut off score along with the schedule and application fees for the students wanting to apply for Mop-Up Round of Online Counseling of Post Graduate Medical/Dental state quota seats on the basis of NEET (PG) – 2021.

As per officials, the minimum percentage for application in the online counseling for General (UR/EWS) is 35th percentile while the cut off is 247; the same for SC/ST/BC I/BC II is 25th percentile and 210; meanwhile, the same for UR-PWD is 30th percentile, while the cut off score is 239.

The notification states, “Interested eligible candidates, who become eligible after lowering of percentile are requested to fill the online application form between March 15 and March 22 on the board’s official website http://jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in by clicking on ‘Post Graduate Medical online application submission – 2021’ and following the given directions.”

It is noteworthy that the students that have already applied for or enlisted in the second round of counseling need not apply again.

On the other hand, the final date earlier for submission of application by left out interested candidates was initially March 9 to March 11, however, the revised dates for the same are March 15 to March 21. The Provisional State Merit list for the second round of counseling with newly added candidates was to be published on March 12, however, now it will be published by March 22.

Any kind of objections could be made on the Provisional State Merit list for the second round of counseling on March 13, which is now March 23, wherein, applicants will have to provide supporting documents for correction on the board’s email id controller.jceceb@gmail.com.

Earlier, the publication of the final merit list for mop-up round of online counseling was to be done by March 14, but after revision, it will be done by March 24.

After the final State Merit list was published, online registration and the process of filing choices for desired seats for allotment was to be done from March 15 to March 20. However, the date has now been changed from March 25 to March 30.

Meanwhile, Provisional seat allotment letters were then to be issued on March 22, while now it will be issued by April 1. Similarly, document verification and admission in the concerned institute was to be allowed between March 22 and 25, while now the dates have been shifted between April 2 and April 8.

Fees for online submission of application form for General/EWS/BC I/BC II categories are Rs 1000, while the same for SC/ST/Female candidates of all categories is Rs 500. Meanwhile, the counseling fee for the General/EWS/BC 1/BC II categories are Rs 1250, while the same for SC/ST/Female candidates of all categories is Rs 1000. However, no fees will be needed for Divyang candidates.
