Jharkhand logs 206 fresh Covid cases, 326 recoveries in last 24 hours

Ranchi, Feb 12: New Covid infections, continued to decrease with 206 new cases being reported during the last 24 hours in the state on Friday taking the total number of active cases to 1,968 with 326 recoveries and no casualties.

As many as 50,420 samples were tested across the state on Friday of which 206 returned positive, indicating a positivity rate of 0.40%.

The total number of Covid-19 cases in the state since the outbreak of the pandemic has reached 4,32,954 out of which 4,25,672 have recovered and 5,314 have scummed to the virus.

East Singhbhum with 90 new cases remained at the top followed by Ranchi with 45 new cases.

The recovery rate stood at 98.31% and the mortality rate at 1.22%.
