Ranchi, Jan 21: New Covid infections, continued to decrease with 2,449 new cases being reported during the last 24 hours in the state on Thursday taking the total number of active cases to 25,578 with 4,283 recoveries and ten deaths.
While five casualties were reported from East Singhbhum, two from Dhanbad and one case each from Khunti, Gumla and West Singhbhum.
The total number of Covid-19 cases in the state since the outbreak of the pandemic has reached 4,15,388 out of which 3,84,575 have recovered and 5,235 have scummed to the virus.
Ranchi with 757 new cases remained at the top followed by East Singhbhum with 474 new cases.
