Jharkhand logs 318 fresh Covid cases, 363 recoveries in last 24 hours

Ranchi, Feb 10: New Covid infections, continued to decrease with 318 new cases being reported during the last 24 hours in the state on Wednesday taking the total number of active cases to 2,227 with 363 recoveries and no casualties.

As many as 56,948 samples were tested across the state on Wednesday of which 318 returned positive, indicating a positivity rate of 0.55%.

The total number of Covid-19 cases in the state since the outbreak of the pandemic has reached 4,32,487 out of which 4,24,946 have recovered and 5,314 have scummed to the virus.

East Singhbhum with 101 new cases remained at the top followed by Ranchi with 57 new cases.

The recovery rate stood at 98.24% and the mortality rate at 1.22%.
