Ranchi, Jan 28: New Covid infections, continued to decrease with 892 new cases being reported during the last 24 hours in the state on Thursday taking the total number of active cases to 12,076 with 2,719 recoveries and five deaths.
While three casualties were reported from East Singhbhum and one case each from Gumla and Dhanbad.
The total number of Covid-19 cases in the state since the outbreak of the pandemic has reached 4,25,229 out of which 4,07,862 have recovered and 5,286 have scummed to the virus.
East Singhbhum with 248 new cases remained at the top followed by Simdega with 127 new cases.
