Ranchi, Jan.5: Work is in full pace to shift all the ministers of Jharkhand government in one campus.
A visit to Smart City in Dhurwa suggested so when engineers and workers were noticed busy completing the 11 bungalows of the state ministers.
“One bungalow will be readied by mid January. It has been completed and painted. Now furnishing work is going on. Apart from this, work of laying artificial grass is also on. After one bungalow is completed, the remaining others will be completed one by one. It is expected that by the end of March the bungalow will be completed,” engineer of a Hyderabad-based company engaged in work said requesting anonymity.
The cost involved in construction of the bungalows is Rs 70 crore. Each bungalow is spread in an 8000 square feet area. It is a duplex equipped with all modern facilities including centralised AC to keep it cool in summer, elevators, modular kitchen besides others.
On the ground floor of the bungalow there is provision of two bed rooms while on the first floor the number of bedrooms provided is three. Apart from this, there is a drawing room, dining hall, minister room and other spaces have been provided in the bungalow.
The campus is close to Project Bhawan and at the entrance of campus a big gate is under construction.
“After all ministers are shifted to one campus, it will be convenient to meet them all without driving much. Apart from this, providing security arrangements will also be easier,” a police personnel in the area said.
