The Jawan was identified as Parna Oraon. He had to go home to pass this holiday. Superintendent of police of Gumla Ehtesham Waquarib confirmed the incident saying police are in action to identify and arrest the criminals.

A police official said as many as five criminals barged into the house of an army jawan after he was going to sleep after dinner with his wife Budheshwari Devi and three-year-old daughter.
