Ranchi, Feb 21: The National Health Mission Director, Jharkhand, Ramesh Gholap on Monday directed officials to publish a report related to e-Sanjeevani Telemedicine on the portal within seven days and to work as per the target. The civil surgeon and district programme manager of the district where the report of e-Sanjeevani telemedicine is not working as per the target and has not been published on the portal will have their salary held.

The information came to the fore after the review meeting related to e-Sanjeevani Telemedicine which was attended by Civil Surgeons, District Program Managers, Nodal Officers, DDMs and CHOs of all the districts under the chairmanship of Ramesh Gholap.

Describing the purpose of e-Sanjeevani Telemedicine, the campaign director said that specialist doctors of all health and wellness centers at district level, medical colleges, RIMS, Ranchi and Medical College, Deoghar, have to treat and help patients without hassle.

Gholap said that every person would ensure to do at least two tele-consultations every day. In case of failure to do as instructed, action will be taken. There are 1640 HWCs functioning in the state, out of which HWC ID has been generated in 1158. In the rest, the work of ID generation is to be done in coordination with C-DAC.

The Mission Director said that 489 HWCs are active, the rest are not active. 225 are designated for Doctor’s HUB, where a doctor can be tagged by creating a separate roster. HUB has been created in 18 districts. In the remaining districts, instructions have been given to create HUB at the earliest.

The disability certificate on the Swalamban portal is to be updated from time to time only by the competent medical officer notified by the state on the specified UDID portal. He said that whatever new application is being received, it has to be done keeping in mind even the smallest things work according to the target at the time.
