Daltonganj, March 20: Admit cards for the PhD entrance exam NPU 2023 are now being distributed in block C of the GLA college, Daltonganj.
Dr R K Jha, the nodal officer of PhD tests, stated, “For some technical glitches the university could not make the admit cards digitally available. We are issuing it at the counter. It has begun from today.”
When asked if candidates from other districts or states might face harassment as a result of admit cards not being digitally available on the university’s website, Jha responded, “Once the candidates come even on the day of the test which is March 22, their admit cards will be made available to them. We will ensure no inconvenience is caused to the candidates.”
Further, he mentioned that candidates would not be allowed to enter the building after 12.30 PM on the examination date. The two-hour test will commence at 12.30 p.m. The test will be administered using an OMR sheet, candidates must exercise extreme caution in their responses. He also mentioned that the examination will be conducted in the BE.d complex, which is right next to the GLA college’s main gate.
For the PhD entrance exam, the university has received 442 applications. The applications mostly have been received from Orrisa, Chhattisgarh, UP, Bihar, West Bengal and Jharkhand.
There are 22 JRF, NET, or GATE-qualified candidates in the total applications received. The 22 qualified applicants will not be required to take the PhD entrance exam, on the given date.
