Ranchi, Dec 15: Jharkhand Raksha Shakti University is now not going to get its new campus for which the government had allocated 75 acres of land in Khunti district.
Registrar Col (Dr.) Rajesh Kumar said that the construction work of the new campus had started but now it has stopped.
“The University is not going to shift to a new campus as the government has cancelled the plan for the construction at the Khunti location,” Kumar said.
On the question of getting the new campus, he said that the government will be deciding on it in the future.
Jharkhand Raksha Shakti University (JRSU) is a unique and new state university that was established in 2016 with a noble vision and mission for providing higher education. It is one of its kind in the entire eastern region of the country and 3rd of its kind in the entire country.
Currently, the university is running at its temporary location in Morhabadi, Ranchi.
This University offers students both undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in courses like Forensic Science, Criminology, Computer Application and Cyber Security, Industrial Security, Disaster Management and Police Sciences.
The University also has some excellent in-house faculty members and some eminent guest faculty also take classes and interact with the students on a regular basis.
