Jharkhand: Three-day adventure activities at various water bodies to begin from July 11

Ranchi, July 8: The Tourism Department at Jharkhand is organizing adventure activities at Patratu Lake from July 11 to 13 to popularise adventure tourism activities in the state.

Under the direction of the Directorate of Tourism at Jharkhand, Adventure Travellers Academy will conduct various activities such as Parasailing, Rock (Wall) climbing, Kayaking, Banana ride, Ringo ride, Surfing, Jet Ski and All-Terrain Vehicles, which shall be organized under the guidance of experienced leaders and Instructors.

 

 

Apart from patratut, the activities will take place at other water bodies such as  Getalsud at Ranchi, Chandil at Saraikela Kharshwan, Maithon at Dhanbad, Tilaiya at Koderma and Masanjore at Dumka.

People are requested to bring slippers, towels, shorts & t-Shirt or suitable but decent wear for water activities in a public place. You may opt for bringing personal Shades (Sunglasses), Cap, Sun Protection Cream, Drinking Water, Eatables etc.

People suffering from any serious ailment or concerning medical conditions, weak heart conditions, spinal issues, epilepsy, asthmatic patient and expectant mothers are not allowed.
