Ranchi, July 9: So far more than 3 lakh candidates have filled out applications for appointment to about two thousand posts in the state. The number of applicants is increasing day by day. However, the date of the exam has not been announced yet. From this, it can be easily guessed what is the condition of unemployment in Jharkhand.

Notably, recruitment is to be done for about 2017 posts in Jharkhand. For this, JSSC will take Combined Graduate Level Examination. Online application is being done for this exam. So far more than 3 lakh candidates have applied for the vacancies for only 2017 posts. Through the Combined Graduate Level Examination, appointments will be made to the posts of CI (Zone Inspector), Assistant Branch Officer, Block Supply Officer, Block Welfare Officer, Planning Assistant, Labor Transformation Officer and Junior Secretariat Assistant.

JSSC had earlier released vacancies for CGL in 2021. Last year, the High Court quashed the local policy of the Hemant Soren government after which JSSC cancelled 12 advertisements including CGL. Those who have filled out the exam form in 2021 will not be charged this time for filling out the form. They will have to give the previous registration number.

Jharkhand’s competitive exams have always been controversial. Candidates have been alleging rules and language disputes in the examination. The candidates have also been agitating. Candidates say that this time the exam will be completed and there is a fear of getting the appointment.

The protest against the 60:40 recruitment rules continues. Student organizations and candidates are continuously opposing it after the advertisement. The students demand that instead of 60:40, the 1932 Khatian policy and 90:10 planning policy should be implemented by the government under any circumstances.
