Jharkhand welcomes Ganga Vilas Cruise in traditional style, see photos

Ranchi, Jan 21: The Ganga Vilas Cruise was in Bihar a few days ago, but has now reached Sahibganj. Tourists were warmly welcomed by tribal customs at the Ganga Ghat. During this, the tourists looked quite happy and said it was great to come here.

The Ganga Vilas Cruise, which covered the longest waterway in the world, has reached Sahibganj in Jharkhand ahead of its scheduled date. It reached Sahibganj on the evening of January 20 after which foreign guests warmly welcomed it.

Notably, the cruise started from Varanasi on January 13, 2023.

Foreign tourists were welcomed after Ganga Vilas Cruise reached Sahibganj. During this, Rajmahal MLA Anant Aujha presented shawls and bouquets to foreign guests.

A total of 31 foreign guests boarded the Ganga Vilas Cruise. Apart from Rajmahal port, a visit was made to the nearby Samda seas village. Tribal dance was also performed. On this occasion, Peter, a tourist, told that he was visiting India for the second time and India has developed a lot now. It was a pleasure to come to Sahibganj.

There was also a woman among the tourists, who was given a bouquet by MLA Anant Aujha. A tribal woman had her two-month-old child in her arms. The tourist went near him and started playing with him. For a long time, he kept the child in his lap.

Out of these 31 tourists from Switzerland and Germany, there are only two who understand English. Both of them talked a little with the journalists present at the port. Foreign guests also enjoyed the tribal dance.
