Ranchi, May 20: JharJharkhand’s Director of Sports Zeeshan Qamar has assured that the department will provide all possible help to sports federations and players in the state.
During the discussion related to sports activities in the state by the Department of Sports and Youth Affairs on Friday, the sports director did a detailed discussion on the priorities of the department for the development of sports in the state.
He said that Chief Minister Hemant Soren is particularly conscious about sports and he dreams that the players of Jharkhand should keep waving the flag of their talent across the globe.
During this discussion, the problems related to sports federations like office, cash awards, scholarships, grants, competition events etc. were discussed in detail and Qamar assured that all these would be resolved at the earliest.
He added that it would be endeavored that the awarding of cash and stipend should be held every month.
