Kulgam, June 2: Terrorists fired upon a bank manager at Ellaqie Dehati Bank at Areh Mohanpora in Kulgam districton Thursday, in yet another attack on civilians.
The bank manager was a resident of Rajasthan and was transported to a nearby hospital after terrorists opened fire on him. He later on succumbed to his injuries. The deceased has been identified as Vijay Kumar.
This is the second attack on civilians in less than a week. Terrorists shot and killed a school teacher earlier this week.
“Injured bank employee namely Vijay Kumar succumbed to his injuries at hospital. Search in the area going on. Further details shall follow,” said Kashmir police in a tweet.
