J&K: Police gun down two terrorists in encounter in Srinagar

Srinagar, Sept 15: Two terrorists were killed by Srinagar Police in an encounter that took place in the Nowgam area of Srinagar district, police said.

The Kashmir Zone Police claimed in a series of tweets that the terrorists were connected to the terrorist organisation Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind.

The two terrorists were identified by the police as Pulwama native Aijaz Rasool Nazar and Shahid Ahmad, alias Abu Hamza. They participated in an assault on a labourer from West Bengal earlier this month in Pulwama, the police added.

 

2 neutralised terrorists identified as Shahid Ah Ganai from Budgam & Arjumand(Aijaz) Rasool Nazar, from Karimabad, Pulwama. As per JKP, both terrorists were involved in recent civilian killing in Wugragund, Pulwama where a non local labourer was killed: Defence PRO Srinagar
